OpenPlant PID Help

To Annotate Multiple Break Properties

Multiple break properties can be annotated using the procedure below. However, the properties must be first pre-configured in the OpenPlant_PID_Supplemental Schema before running this key-in. By default, Specification, Insulation Material and Insulation Thickness is already configured.
  1. Enter the following key-in: PID insert OpenPlant_Pid PIPING_SPECIFICATION_BREAK_ALT1
  2. Use the mouse to pick the point on the run where the break is to occur.
  3. Left-click the mouse to accept the point. The Split Run dialog displays listing the two runs. OpenPlant PID will create a unique name for the second run but all other properties will remain the same.
  4. To modify one of the runs, select it and click OK. The Properties dialog displays allowing you to define the Spec change.
  5. Optional: Click the Create new pipeline option if you want to create a new pipeline from the split section instead of a new pipe run. This will display the Pipe Line Tag Creation dialog.
  6. Define a new value for the Spec and another property that was pre-configured in the Supplemental Schema to be annotated with this key-in.
  7. Click OK when finished. You can make changes to either run using the Element Info dialog.
